Comicon 2010
posted 07/30/10

Comicon Was a Blast!
Unfortunately, Comicon is over. We loved seeing the fans in costume, our friends in Artist's Alley, and all of the amazing displays. We even had a few honored guests stop by to say hello. Morgan Spurlock, creator of the documentary "Super Size Me" had his crew stop by to film our booth! We were glad to reconnect with old friends, and make some new ones as well. Check out photos from the event on our Facebook fan page! Thanks again to our friends Damon Bard, Derek Smith, Steven Gravano, and Ryan Kingslien for helping out in our booth.

"Where's Waldo?"

Our take on "Where's Waldo?"
We were inspired seeing our anatomy figure in Ron Mueck new book, and we thought it would be a great idea to see where all of you have put yours. Is it in your studio, hovering over your work table? Is it in your home next to the TV? We want to know! You can upload your photos directly through our Facebook fan page!

P.S. If your studio has been posted on our site in this article, be sure and let us know who you are!  We would love to interview you.

Paolo Rivera's Blog
Artist Paolo Rivera talks about sketching from our male anatomical figure in his blog The Self-Absorbing Man. Rivera states "it's a model sculpted by Andrew Cawrse that keeps vigilant watch over my drafting table. Sometimes I will draw from it in the morning to 'loosen up' before a day of the art-making." Thanks for the great review Paolo, in return we will send some traffic your way. Be sure to check out Paolo's work at http://paolorivera.blogspot.com/
